Organisms were originally collected from Great Sippawisset Marsh in Massachusetts, USA on April 7th 2026. Starlet Sea Anemone (Nematostella vectensis)
Nematostella vectensis thrives in brackish conditions, ideally between 14 and 20 ppt. Room temperature (18–22 °C) is suitable. They can be kept in bare dishes or bowls without any special equipment. Feed them freshly hatched Artemia nauplii several times a week, and clean the tank manually after feeding. Sand or gravel can be used as a substrate if desired. They vary in length but not in diameter.
